We will make this again. It was a very good and filling side dish.

I have been making this same type recipe for years now. Used to make it before SB and served over rice. Now we just add some lean ground beef and it makes a meal!! Very tasty!! But I used a whole head of cabbage and only one onion. also add a little soy sauce.

this is a great dish, as long as you add 3 or 4 oz of chicken to the meal so you are getting your protien.

Excellent dish, although I believe there are 4 servings per recipe here, not 6. I will definitely add a bit of red pepper/tabasco the next time I make this one - which I absolutely will do.

I've also been making this for years! great recipe. You can also add canned corned beef. Another tip, if you like spicy add a teaspoon (or more if you're adventurous) of Chili Sauce, you'll love it.

I have made a similar recipe and love it. I cooked 2-3 slices bacon until crisp--used that grease instead of olive oil--made a huge, delicious side dish. If you are cautious with the grease, it should still be low in calories.
