Sauteed Cabbage & Onions with Garlic
Quick and easy flavorful side dish.
Ingredients
Directions
- Shred or chop cabbage and set aside.
- Over medium heat sauté onions in oil until golden brown, stirring often, add garlic and sauté for just one minute.
- Add cabbage and cook, stirring frequently, until cabbage is limp and turns a brighter green (about 5 minutes).
- Sprinkle on Splenda and continue to cook, stirring often, until cabbage takes on an amber color and begins to brown lightly (about 25 more minutes).
- Season to taste.
