Crockpot Beef Stew

A hearty, low fat beef and vegetables stew.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Dice onion and beef, sauté, and add to crockpot.
  2. Add peas and mushrooms.
  3. Peel carrots and chop, add to crockpot.
  4. Chop new potatoes into chunks, add to pot.
  5. Mix beef cube with hot water and add to pot.
  6. Pour in water to cover all ingredients.
  7. Mix gravy mix (like bisto) with water and add to pot.
  8. Pepper and salt to taste, Lay bay leaf on top and cook for 8 to 10 hours.
