So delicious and creamy minus the butter and milk.
Ingredients
Directions
- Peel and cut potatoes into 1 in cubes.
- Toss into a pot, add water to boil.
- Add peeled garlic cloves into water and boil along with potatoes.
- Once potatoes are fork tender, drain along with garlic and place in a bowl to mix.
- Using a hand mixer (or however you prefer to mash potatoes) break apart potatoes and garlic until somewhat smooth.
- Add sour cream, salt and pepper to taste.

this is ok if it is all you eat all day the sodium is crazy high calories for me are a little high for a side dish.

Haven't tried, just reading and believe the high sodium is due to the 1 Tb of salt to boil the potatoes. Just how much of that 1 Tb should actually be counted? You're throwing a lot of salt away with the water.

maybe it was supposed to be 1 tsp., a Tbsp. would be a lot for three potatoes.
