This recipe was not anywhere close to the description or the picture. The chicken comes out mediocre. Would be suitable to put atop a salad but thats about it. Bummer...

I didn't like this at all. The chicken seemed overdone and it didn't look anything like the picture. I was very dissapointed and couldn't even feed it to my family. I had high hopes for it too! I waited all day for it. Bummer

Something more than what's posted here is wrong with this recipe. If done according to the directions given it couldn't possibly add up to 410 per serving, with 124 calories from fat. There is no fat listed in this recipe.

I had read the comments, and decided to try it for myself anyway. I tried a piece or two when it was done, and had to spit it out! If you are interested in something I do suggest that you try it for yourself like I did. But, beware, my husband and I didn't even try to have it for dinner. We had Ramen noodles instead.

The reason the fat content is wrong is that the chicken selected from the database is not skinless. It would be nice if AlgaeGirl could correct that. Since a boneless skinless breast cooks on the stovetop (low simmer) in 20 minutes at most, all day in the crockpot must overcook them badly. Also, adding raw broccoli for the last 20 minutes, in a crockpot on low, will yield...raw broccoli! I suggest using the same ingredients on your stove, with the total recipe taking about 30 minutes and the broccoli added for the last 15...it might be good!
