Even though this stew takes less than thirty minutes, it still has that rich braised flavor.
Ingredients
Directions
- Combine the scallions, garlic and tomato in a food processor and puree for 1 minute or until smooth.
- Heat 1 tbsp of the oil in a saucepan over medium heat until hot but not smoking. Add the tomato mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
- Season the Sirloin with the paprika, salt and pepper. Heat the remaining 2 tbsp. of oil in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking. Brown the meat, in batches if neccessary, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the tomato mixture over the meat and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the cream and bouillon, and cook 2 minutes, or until heated though (Do Not Let The Goulash Boil).
- Serve immediately.

Who in their right mind if they are dieting would eat this high calorie, high fat (look at the sat fat, poly fat and mono fats), high sodium meal and truly expect to lose weight. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A DIET(?) MEAL. NOT! Won't even attempt to edit or eat.

I think it looks great. The only true problem is the serving size which was probably a mistake. No one I know could eat half of this recipe. I believe it should be at least 4-6 and then the stats would look better and appropriate for an atkins type diet.

This was great. Made it last night and hubby thought it was wonderful too. He had his over rice and I just had it with a salad. Great recipe. Thank you for sharing.
