A great no fat added banana bread with applesauce, whole wheat flour and whole rolled oats.
Ingredients
Directions
- Mash ripened bananas in a bowl.
- Add the rest of ingredients and mix just until moistened.
- Pour into large loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray like Pam.
- Bake at 350 °F (175 °C) for 1 hour and 5 minutes, or until wooden skewer comes out clean.
- This comes out so delicious and moist; I was very impressed that it made "bread" instead of mush.
- Note: if you wish, add a small amount of chocolate chips for an extra treat.

THIS BREAD CAME OUT SOOOO YUMMY ! I hope you all like it as much as we did ! :)
The steel cut oats from Trader Joes gave it excellent texture without having to have the extra fat of nuts.
Just for fun, I threw in just a touch of chocolate chips... not even an 1/8 cup. Either way, with or wtihout, YUM !
