I am going to be the big "50" next November. I was determined this year to be 50 and fabulous not 50 and fat!!! I have felt tired for a long time and because I had a traumatic injury to my right ankle requiring 2 surgeries over 7 years ago I have put on 70 pounds. I am a nurse and work long hours so I am often tired when I come home. I have walked faithfully for 3 months now every night for an hour and work out twice a week with a trainer. I find I am hitting a plateau now with staying on the diet and craving at night. I have been gaining 2 pounds and loosing it now for 2 weeks and hope this does not continue. I am determined to loose this weight but boy is it hard!!!!! Dianne

The protein powder I take is called Isoflex(no carbs or fats and 27 grams of protein)..it is supposed to be 90% pure protein....I usually put it in skim mild 6 0z or water...is this okay? I usually work out around 8:30 pm at night and go to bed around midnight....Dianne

She actually had asked me to up my calories to 1500 at least and have an extra scoop of protein powder at night in water and increase my meals from 300 calories to 400 with 150 calorie to 200 calorie snacks twice a day....I have been on the walking thing and am doing calisthenics as well now at night and have introduced interval training(walking slow and fast with incline now on tread) in hopes this would change things...have not increased the calories but maybe I should..have been at this since August....Dianne

Chia Seeds
Anyone ever heard of Chia seeds for weight loss or to promote energy? How much do you have to take to do this. I have had 2 tablespoons today so far and found it has not curbed my cravings yet or made me feel full? DianneMad
