41 years old. 8 yr old twin girls and the best wife on the planet. She deserves a husband who is leaner than me and I intend to be that man.

She also deserves someone who is better looking and smarter, but come on... there is only so much that I can do at once.

Is it just me or do diets make you more emotional, i feel rubbish today!!
I actually got mad, threw my racket and yelled at my tennis partner this week... and I was winning! I am normally as docile as a mouse, but this losing weight has made me lose my smile. You know what gets my smile back? Thinking about food. Smile

Macronutrient Ratios
Out of curiosity, what macronutrient percentages are people shooting for? I have been playing with the math recently and I seem to have settled on a modified version of the low fat, high carb ratio:
Fat: 20-25
Carbs: 45-65
Prot: 10-35

...but since I have no idea what I am talking about, I thought I'd get some insight from some others. Please let me know what you're doing and why.

Thanks!

I'm so glad I found this forum! I was thinking earlier today that I'd like to see 'water' as a tracked nutrient. Calories, carbs, fats, points, etc. are all important nutrients to track, but water's an important nutrient as well, and one that most people on an earnest quest to change their lifestyle and eating habits struggle with. If that could be offered as an option, I think that'd be great. Thanks in advance for considering it, admins!

I second that motion.
