performance: losing 0.1 lb a week
Hello everyone my name is Cecilia, i'm 39 years old and I would love to feel comfortable looking at myself in the mirror... and most importantly believing my husband when he tells me that i'm beautiful. I am married to my best friend and life companion for 13 years but we've been together for 23! I have three children, 2 boys (21 years old and 19 years old) and my 9 year old princess. I was skinny (117 lbs) up until I had my second son and then shot up to 189 lbs after a few years on birth control. When I saw the scale that day I vowed I had to do something about it. I went on the South Beach diet one week later and lost 30 lbs in less than 4 months. I fell off the bandwagon and climbed the scale again to 165. I decided I had to do something since I can't stand to look at my body in the mirror. I have made a complete change in our diet which I have stuck to 95% for over a year now... things get much easier once you get used to it!
I am currently at 159 lbs my ultimate goal is to get to 130 and lose the fat around my abs and hips.
My main motivation now is my oldest son... He lost over 100 lbs so that he could join the Army! I am now a very proud Army Mom, and he looks AMAZING! I try to do some of the workouts he taught me (talk about sweat your butt off!)
