I am a Business Analyst, who now works in the office. I have 4 1/2 years of telecommuter weight that I need to shed! I have finally taken a stand, and refuse to let this excess weight control me any longer. I am on an HerbaLife Nutrition Plan that works for me, and I am now going to the gym on a daily basis. I eat healthy most days, and my energy level is through the roof! I can't wait to reach my goal weight! I am also an independent Herbalife distributor. Digging Deep For Motivation
Some days are just ridiculously impossible. I get up every morning at 4:30am, to get to the gym here at work by 5:30 am. 2 out of 5 days I just don't want to get up. On top of this being super early, it's more difficult to wake up and remind yourself of the reasons you have decided to get in shape. I was a telecommuter for nearly 5 years, and I struggled so much with getting myself to just simply move. I was overweight, unmotivated, depressed, and constantly tired. I finally worked my butt off at getting this promotion which was the best worst thing in my life. While the job isn't the most wonderful thing in my life right now, there is a gym on location. After huffing and puffing up the staircase, I decided to take action. I hit the gym every morning, for a minimum of 45 minutes. When I don't feel like coming in, I remind myself that if I choose to sleep in, it will take me that much longer to hit my goal. Rather than being envious of those that are already in shape, I choose to spend my energy on working towards being that person in shape. I remind myself that for 4 1/2 years I made the wrong decisions, that skipping just "1 work out" can turn into 1,642.5 workouts skipped. When I think of all these things, it makes it clear, and easy that going back to my old unmotivated, unhappy, overweight self is NOT AN OPTION. I'm no longer struggling; I am working towards my goals, ACTIVELY! I like my results. I love my energy level. I can't wait for more achievements! Very Happy
