Hi
I'm 36 yrs old and my struggles with yo-yo dieting started about 10 yrs ago ! Have been struggling with the same 25 lbs - up and down - up and down.
I want to get to my "ideal body weight" as I want to stay healthy without chronic ailments (plus of course, I want to look good in my clothes! :) I have a family history of high blood pressure and diabetes.
I was at my lowest weight as an adult just before I got pregnant ; in fact I got pregnant after losing about 25 lbs - gained a lot of it back soon after...
I love this website and it really motivates me!

How do I enter my own food stats?
First, I would recommend that you note down exactly all the ingredients you use to cook a dish, including their exact measurements( such as tsp of oil used, salt etc). Then go to "submit a recipe" and you can simply enter all the ingredients. FS will calculate the exact nutritional info for you !! This is one of the cool things about this website that I love !

Exercise Log
you can just enter the exercise. That's how I've been doing it. Of course, you can always enter other stuff like house work, desk work etc if you want to.
