I am a mom of 4 fantastic boys. I gave birth to 2 of them, and the other 2 came into my life through the wonderful man I found to love. After the birth of my first child, I started depo-provera shots. I breastfed, but the shots prevented me from losing any weight, and I gained even more. 2 years later I was off the shots, and began to watch what I ate. I lost 15 lbs. I then found out my decreased appetite and ability to resist chocolate was due to the fact I was pregnant again. This was devastating to me because I was on birth control pills and attending my next to last year of college. I was 12 weeks along when I found out. This caused additional anxiety, and eventually more weight gain. I delivered both of my children at 192 lbs. My youngest is now 10 yrs old. I have come a long way in 10 yrs, but I have yo-yo'd for many of them. I am currently 142 lbs. I would like to lose another 20-22 lbs. Since starting back with fatsecret on 8-5-11 (at 153 lbs), I have lost 13 lbs. I have a better outlook this time around, and want to be healthy more than ever. Not only for myself, but for my family.

Did EVERYBODY Gain THIS PAST WEEK or WHAT?
I agree. I went up slightly this week as well. Potluck at work and too much weekend snacking. Oh well. I will do better this week, and not beat myself up. I would also like to meet my goal by the end of the year. Good luck!

Very slow weight loss
I know exactly what you mean! I am also 33 & having a hard time losing. I just keep telling myself to keep at it! One cheat day a week makes the rest of the week more enjoyable!

fallenstar85- i understand about losing motivation. every time i start being good again, i truly believe it will be the last! this time i need help! buddies are essential to my success! i am currently 147, hoping to get down to 125. let's do this!!
