female 54yrr homemaker old gained weight over the last 5years due to inactivity from chronic back pain and post hip replacemnet trauma. attending weight watchers meetings since april 1 have lost 22 pounds, also had to really change lifestyle after husband was diagnosed w/type 2 diabetes. i have about 30 pounds to go.

how many cals per day?
i am doing lowfat with ALLI. it isn't really a lowcal diet, just low fat and 20 mins of excercise per day. according to myalli.com my daily calorie target is 1800, which i can't meet it's just too much. my doc said cutting 200 to 300 per day from what you used to eat will take off weight, but low fat is also heart healthy.
