I am a newbee also
Check out bodyrock.tv. The excursuses are not easy but takes little more than your living room and you. The older the videos the better since the new video workouts do require some equipment. Those burpees are killer but they are a fantastic way to get in a great burn with absolutely not equipment and hardly and space.

Start new diet
My dad retired about 5 years ago and he gained weight. About 2 years ago he got into biking and has dropped a ton of weight. I think the thing you should do is find an activity that you enjoy that will get you moving on a regular basis. I know that my dad takes his bike out for 2 hours 5 times a week. By the way he is 65 years old. I can also tell you when you start being more active you won't mind eating healthier because you will be in the right mind set. I also have family members who are retired and really enjoy tennis. Maybe try taking up a sport or activity with a group like a running or walking group.

As for Fatsecret just be sure you are tracking what you eat and what you do to work it off from sitting to standing to working out. It all counts. It is also important that you find healthy food options that you enjoy. It takes time to figure it out but once you start feeling the effects and seeing the effects you will be more and more motivated!

HELP!
1/4 cup raw almonds. It does not look or sound like a lot but it is surprisingly filling and sustaining. Follow it with a full glass of water and you will be set for a couple of hours.

Why am I not loosing?
I can't look at your food journal since you have it set to private. I can tell you that it took me a year to get to a place where I would start loosing. over that year my measurements did go down but my weight did not move. Not until last month when I lost 10 lbs. If you open your food journal back up I will have a look but I can tell you that it's not all about calories. You need to look at your sugar, fat, carbs and protein as well.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Once per week. Experts will tell you it is not a good idea to weigh yourself everyday because you will get frustrated with normal fluctuations. Once a week is good for me. Keeps me motivated when I am loosing 1 lb per week.
