Each of us have various but usually slower then"normal" 30+ females oftern 9s not 11-14s
Has any one figured out how to adjust the calorie calculator for folks who have a metabolic rate at 7.5, not the "ususal "11"("11"/135Lbs= 1485 calories burned at sleeping rate. The extreamly high Calories allowed per day on this Fatsecret system would have me GAINING 4lbs/week. SO I dont' use it, but would be nice to have adjustable Metabolic rate caluculations in the program. Any THoughts?

More accurate measurements
Is there any way to add adjusting "daily calorie fat burning" concidering our very different basic metabolic rates. Mine is 7.5 caleries per pound-resting. The "norm" is 11 calories per ound. So I can eat 7.5 x 240lbs = 1500 to keep at 240 lbs. Drop 500 calories/day means I can loose 1 lb/week. When I use to present fat secret calculator, it says I can eat 2800 caloories, WOOO baby, [party on down!! But that is a lie. In truth, I can eat 1500 calories/day. At 2800 I would jump to 300 lbs in 2 months. This web sit is very helpful for supporting my health project called "Reclainm my life!". This added adjustment would make it that much more acurate.

Low resting metabolic rate
The calorie burned estimations for when I am sleeping is good for an active male ie 11-15, I am a 55yr old metapausal female with a resting metabolism of 7.5. My resting calorie to maintain 210 lbs there fore is 1575 NOT the 2000 the calculator adds in. and my physical activity calories burned are 60 not 245. Is there any way to get the progrqam on this web page to adgust for metabolic rates. I am not loosing wt since May so this clearly must not be working for others as wee.

Any help or suggestions are very welcome.
