Questions
I have so many questions I don 't know where to start. I bought the Sonoma Diet Cookbook and the recipes list Exchanges.I find n o reference anywhere else, either in gthe diet book itself or in the c ookbook, to exchanges. What do they mean on the Sonoma Diet?

The plate/portions confuse me too. I'm good with measuring 1/2 cup, etc., but what about meats? If I have a nice steak, it might be 1/2 inch thick and to cover a fourth of my plate is quite a bit more than if I have a lean burger. I notice recipes with a boneless skinless chicken breast consider one breast equals one serving.

And on the unlimited veggies list, does this mean I can eat five of those at one meal? I'm exaggerating, but how do you figure the free veggies? I c an eat a bowl of salad but it takes up more than the plate amount....

Anyway, I'm doing okay, don't feel overly deprived and I shed a bit but the last two weeks seem to be a lot of up and down.... I considered going back to Wave 1 but I have a lot of fruit on hand!
