I'm 27, in Alberta, Canada, married with no children (yet). Heavy since birth, family all heavy too but I'm the biggest. Plus in the last 1 1/2 years since I got married (Aug. 23/06) there have been major health probs, both myself and family, 2 stressful job changes, and a major death in the family the day before my 1st Anniversary.

We are going to Disneyland in October, and I want to lose weight and get more fit to enjoy my trip as much as possible! This is why I've set my first big goal weight to 220 - that is my DISNEYGOAL!!!!!

First 10% goal - 239
Disneygoal!!! - 220
Second 10% goal - 215
Third 10% goal - 193

Snacking at Before Bed
The baked tortilla chips are really low, have just a few of them with a little salsa. Will definitely satisfy a salt craving.

Don't know much about the Slim Fast plan, but I know that it's a low fat-low cal, and nuts have a high fat and calorie count (though they are good fats most low fat diets don't take that into account!)

50 LB WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - WELCOME
Down a pound this week, not following terribly well but still having a smoothie for breakfast seems to be helping!! Exercise is crappy, unless you count running in circles and jumping through hoops and bashing your head against a wall repeatedly at work LOLRazz

50 LB WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - WELCOME
Haven't had time, energy, or motivation this week to weigh in, so I'm going to take a pass and leave my stats the same. My grandpa went back into the hospital on Tuesday with a silent heart attack and had a minute of lung failure, and the same day we found out that in order to get any funding for school Steve would have to quit his job, and then they would only give us 15% of tuition. So it is going to be VERY tight to manage Disneyland and paying for his school this year. But I am determined!!!

I've been trying to make healty choices and watch what I'm eating without actually pointing - I know I've gone over sometimes but in general am OK.

Wow, how fantastic!! Do you realize that you are 34% of the way to the 50lb Challenge only counting that 17 pounds?!?!?! I hope this is the motivation that you needed to feel good about your journey again, you are doing so amazing and I don't want you to be feeling sad Sad
