YES YES YES!!!! After those past 2 weeks of bad weigh in's, something kicked in this week. I managed to loose 5 pounds. I'm jumping for joy. Checked the scale 4 times to make sure it wasn't lying to me. I even had fast food this week. I ate at McDonald's for breakfast twice due to getting up late. But it consisted of scrambled eggs and sausage and looking online, it's not that bad nutritionally. I also had a BK hamburger but I put my own reduced sugar ketchup and reduced fat cheese on it. I had a side salad with it and was happy when halfway through the burger, I could feel myself getting full. It used to take a Whopper and medium fries to do that. All this was was a plain ole small burger. Another whoo hoo there! I think more water and watching carb intake made the difference. I naturally drink a lot of water, but I've been guzzling it lately. I'm now only 2 pounds away from 40 lost. Another Whoo hooo!!!!

Ugh. After losing only half a pound last week, I gain 1 pound this week. It was a bad carbs week for me. I did manage to drink a ton of water the last two days, so maybe it's water weight? I've been going through one of those phases where I can't seem to get enough water the last few days. And we were celebrating a coworkers bday yesterday with cake and pizza. You put that in front of me, and well, forget about it. I've said in previous entries about how I love that stuff. I'm really hoping I haven't hit my plateau. The diet has been pretty easy up until the last two weeks. I did have some chocolate 2 weeks ago and this week was sort of bread heavy, so I hope that was the cause. I've noticed that a little chocolate doesn't really have that much effect on me though. Well I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's just a little slide and not my plateau point. It's only been 2 bad weeks so it's probably too early to say yet.

Yes, yes yes! I made it through Christmas. I just wanted to maintain my weight but lo and behold, I still lost 1.5 pounds. Whoo hoo. And I have a collar bone again!! It was peeking through at me last night.
