I am a 40 year old working mom. Turning the big 40 a few months ago made me realize that I really needed to get in shape and lose weight if I want to have a full life for years to come.
Work and hauling around a teen age daughter to figure skating practice, dentist and doctor's appointments have been my excuses for not exercising. I was always too tired or too busy to do anything. Now my 13 yr old and I have joined a gym and she makes sure we exercise often (4 or 5 times a week).
Now its just a question of what I put into my mouth, and the food diary is really a great tool to help keep that under control.
