Is It Possible to Lose 4lbs a Week?
It's maybe not real healthy but it is totally possible. I did that last week in 5 days and am now have lost 7 pounds in 10 days. You have to very strictly cut calories to like none. Eat tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, apples when you do eat. And, if you want something with a lot of flavor to add in there (and it's protein, too) go to McDonald's and order a grilled chicken breast. It's just the chicken breast and it costs a dollar (it's not on the menu but they'll do it). It's super yummy and 120 calories. Add it to a small salad and it will do the job. Every time you go by a mirror pull your shirt up and look at your belly. Really I could go on and on with lots of tips. The reality is, though, that it's not really healthy and the weight will come back when you start eating normally again. So you have to be willing to have a ton of willpower and to make it a lifestyle plan.

Curbing your appetite
I'll tell you what I just figured out the other day. When I get home from school (i'm a teacher) as soon as i walk in the door, I'm inhaling food (partly out of hunger, mostly out of habit). SO I found that as soon as I walk in the door and put my purse down, the first thing (literally) I do is pull a bag of baby carrots out of the fridge and open it and set it on the counter--even if i'm not hungry. 1. since it's on the counter and ready to go, it's accessible, and ready to go. I don't even have to open a cabinet or the fridge door. It's just there. And I can leave it sitting out as long as I want. Some days it's there until bedtime. I munch on them while I'm cooking even. 2. Low calorie, low fat, healthy, but crunchy at the same time... 3. What i've come to realize is that they make your mouth tired from chewing. So even if I start out inhaling them, I do slow down and then back off cuz my jaw is tired! (Hey, you try eating a handful or two of these one right after the other!)
