I'm 48 and a mother of two teenagers. I recently married a wonderful man who has a nine-year-old son. I teach high school biology and teach part-time at a local college. Sometimes it's a challenge to squeeze in time to exercise but I read somewhere that you should think of exercising as an appointment with a doctor. It's unlikely that you'll cancel a doctor's appointment.
My highest weight was 217 lbs. about five years ago. Since then, I've started eating healthy (most of the time) and exercising more. I work out at the gym 2x/week and walk for an hour 2x/week.
