I started my journey to health in 2010 and am continuing as strongly as I can. God is getting me through all this, He is my Rock, and the only One keeping me going. There have been some bumps along the way, but He keeps me going in the long run. I started at 170 with a weight goal of 120, and the Lord has gotten me to were I am now, but I still have a bit to go. :)

HELP!
I don't live by myself. I board with a family. But that isn't the problem. I'll eat the healthy food. I love healthy food, but i'll eat crappy food as well, then i'm eating twice the food i should have plus whatever healthy snack I eat too.

HELP!
I've set a goal for myself, but I don't know how to achieve it. I LOVE sweets and cannot seem to say no. After graduation, I felt like my self-control went down the drain. Any and all advice is welcome. I was 10 pounds away from my ultimate goal, but now I've sunk to 20 pounds away.

I need inspiration. I need self-control, but I don't know what "diet" to do to give me that. it's so FRUSTRATING!

Dieting For Food Lovers?
Counting calories is the main thing, a lot of foods are a lot higher in calories than one would think or expect. Many people want a diet that won't make them have to make sacrifices to loose weight, but the fact is that some foods just need to be knocked out of the diet, or eaten occasionally instead of frequently.

I am a major sweet-a-holic, and I personally find that I have to set a 10g of sugar limit or else I'd be eating chocolate cake and cookies all day long.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I personally find that a week can be too long, but daily is way too often. I check mine every four days. It's different. But I find that I don't relax on my diet as often, but I am not depressed if it's not the number I want.
