Hey, here is my long story short. After I went away to college I gained the freshmen 15. After my first year I found my first love... head over heals baby. We dated for a couple months and then because of family problems he had to drop out of school and move back home. He got really depressed and shut everyone out, including me. As a way of coping with a terrible break up I decided to hit the gym and shed those 15.

It was the first time I was actually exersising to lose weight and not just for fun. When I saw the weight going down I was amazed. I couldn't believe I really held the power to my pounds and decided to have a little experiment... how much could I lose. I started at 130... once I hit 118 (High School weigh) I kept going.. I got all the way to 97 by the time I started feeling sick. My mom freaked out and thought I had an eating disorder, which I didn't.. I had a power/control/exersise disorder. Once I stoped and took a step back I relized what I had done to my body.

I have stopped acting crazy but never fully gained back all the weight. I am not at 105 but I would like to be 115. I want to do it the healthy way by eating right and exersising. I want to gain some lean muscle. I'm starting to lift weights but I love running and so this years new years resolution is to be healthy and fit enought to run a half mile and to also be able to donate blood... need to be at least 110. I think these are reasonable expectations and I hope this site will help me in meeting them.

Haha yeah I'm the same way. I'm saving mine for Easter. Isn't funny how Girl Scout cookies always arrive when you're on a diet... I guess it's because it's right after the winter holidays and now that the weather is getting nicer people want to get out and shed that winter weight.. They should sell girlscout cookies either in December or in the early fall... Spring is a bad time for people and junk food.. BOOO
