I'M A 49 YEAR OLD MOM & ESTHETICIAN. I HAVE A COLLEGE AGE DAUGHTER WHO IS MY BEST FRIEND AND AM ENGAGED TO THE MAN THAT STOLE MY HEART ALMOST 4 YEARS AGO.
I LOVE MY LIFE EVEN THOUGH I'VE HAD TO WORK HARDER THAN EVER BEFORE. I HAVE BEEN WORKING THREE PART TIME JOBS AND HAVE NEGLECTED TO EXERCISE AND EAT RIGHT BECAUSE OF POOR TIME MANAGEMENT. NOW I PLAN AHEAD FOR EXERCISE AND MEALS AND MAKE SURE TO HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT WITH ME AT ALL TIMES, SO THAT I DON'T MAKE A MISTAKE OF EATING JUST ANYTHING...
i WAS AT 172 IN THE WINTER AND NOW AT 167, IT'S BEEN VERY HARD TO LOSE THIS GO AROUND. I HAVE TO WORK HARDER THAN EVER BEFORE.
I WANT TO LIVE A LONG HEALTHY LIFE AND ENJOY IT!SO I WILL CONTINUE TO TRY MY BEST TO BE THE HEALTHIEST PERSON THAT I CAN BE :)

Why isn't this working for me?
Hi Jen. You didn't mention your height, if you are 5'1 or under, you may need to lose a few lbs. If so, just amp up the cardio and you should get better results.I can tell a huge difference in my body when I do this. Cycling can really help the glutes too!I am a 50 year old female that has been in your same shoes when I was in my 20's. I never thought I looked good enough and NOW look back at photos and wonder "WHAT WAS I THINKING!!? I LOOKED GREAT!"

JUST KEEP DOING YOUR BEST TO BE HEALTHY!

Biking would be good as well especially if your knees are vunerable.

What's your favorite yummy low cal snack?
I like greek yogurt with fruit on the bottom, small gala apples with organic peanut butter and health wise double peanut butter protein bars. I leave for work sometimes at 5am so I don't have a lot of time for prep. I do like celery with onion & chives cream cheese, too.

I work for a doctor and nurse practitioner that recommend lab tests. If you are eating right and still not losing weight, it could be your thyroid.
