Ultra runner training for the Barkley Fall Classic (about a 65km race with 13,000 foot elevation) Long time marathon runner, 2 boston marathons, Triathlete including Ironman Mt. Tremblant,...poor eater and i LOVE PROSECCO!!!!.
Love the summer, bored in the winter so the time i focus on my weight is now - pre-race season.
Looking forward to meeting other folks that lead a relatively healthy lifestyle but also like to indulge as well...lets not be crazy people - there will always be wine in this gals diet.

Love to meet people that can give and want to receive motivation...we are all here to help one another.

How many calories?
p.s you will NEVER lose weight eating anything at a fast food joint...sodium intake will make it impossible. Sorry not trying to be a Debbie downer but there is no point derailing yourself Smile
Onwards and upwards!

Why am I not losing weight?
If you want to drop 3lbs fast...drink 8-10 glasses of water a day come hell or high water....thats the first step for me and it works like a charm. From that point, I have to get SUPER strict on recording each thing taht goes in my mouth. i know people say dont worry about the scale but if you know you are overweight then you should worry about the scale (not saying you are as i have no clue what you weigh). Inches are super important but at the end of the day when the inches shrink the scale goes lighter period.
It is true muscle weighs more than fat but that really only makes sense if you are hard core body building and really putting on muscle...otherwise just get super strict for 1 week with tons of water, check what kinds of carbs you are eating and increase the protein and greens. YOU WILL DO IT!!! keep going, it will come off Smile

Counting Carbs or Calories? What works for you?
Its trial and error with me but I have found that high protein and carbs only in fruits and veggies works best for my body. TONS AND TONS of protein.
I do go through phases where I eat close to what i want and never allow myself to gain more than 10lbs...when that happens, i just shut down the bad sugars (ie. wine, bread, pasta, sweets) and it drops off fairly quickly Smile
