Is it true?

Hi, is it really true that if I stick to my calaries (1310 p/d) calculated to loose weight, no matter how I make up that 1310kcal, I will loose weight? Years of diets have brainwashed me that all chocolate, fats, sugars & carbs are wrong, so when I eat a chocolate but I'm still within my allowance per day, I feel guilty. And what about the "have to have a balanced diet" views? Any advise?

Simply put: Yes it's true.

But 1310 calories of chocolate won't contain everything else your body needs, (vitamins, minerals etc), to run properly.

A balanced diet just means eating a wide variety of food. Of chocolate can be one. In moderation.

CRYSTAL LIGHT & WATER
Not to mention that 3/4 to 4/5ths of your "water" intake comes from the food you eat.

The non-caffeine is also not held up by any actual study. Caffeine makes you void your bladder more often but doesn't seem to have any effect on the water transit (so it's NOT the diuretic people believe it is).

WHAT items do you like in your salad?
I like Lettuce, cucumber, celery, grated carrot & tomato as the basic salad. Then pickled vegetables (red cabbage, pickled onions, etc etc).

If I am making a meal of the salad adding some protein via boiled eggs, or chickpeas. reduced fat feta style cheeses regulars too.

Not a huge fan of most dressings (the pickled vegetables provide enough tang generally). Balsamic vinegar is when those have been left out though.
