High protein low/no carb diet
Never quit on something completely just for the sake of weight loss. This is a very bad practice and may result in adverse effect. You should cut down on carbs but do not remove them completely as a whole from your diet plan. Follow a low carb diet plan which suffice you the amount of carbs you need along with high protein diet. And when you dizzy and get headache, you must have some form of food intake weather carbs or protein.

lost inches but not pounds!
I too always hate such moments when a person gets into a plateau or one loses weight but not the inches. I would suggest that you get a weight loss coach. Its better that you have a way to control your diet and workout.

Are diets safe?
One of the few easy weight loss plans is Dukan Diet. I came across it recently and found that it allows you to stay on the diet and maintain your weight for life is the Dukan Diet. It works in four stages. In the first stage you are limited to certain foods (not too limited) and then they increase the number of foods you’re allowed to eat over the course of the next three stages. The diet is a high protein diet but by the end of it you are eating a very balanced diet that gives a lot of freedom and variety and is therefore easy to maintain for life

Diet secrets
The slimming secrets that worked for me were: eating 4-5 small meals throughout the day, drinking 8-10 glasses of water every day, including SOME form of exercise to your daily routine. I usually make it a point to swim for an hour every day. It relaxes me and there’s a pool right up the alley so it’s really convenient as well. It’s important for you to enjoy your work out because otherwise exercise becomes more of a chore than a fun activity.

weight stuck despite dieting
It’s only been 9 days! You are NOT obese. It might help you to lose a few pounds, but you are not obese. Stop beating yourself up about this. If you’re looking for weight loss solutions that will help then you should know that it’s important for you to a) eat foods low is carbs (such as whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables) and b) eat foods rich in proteins, minerals and vitamins. Your meals should ideally include lean meats, chicken (poultry), seafood, tofu, dairy, soy along with non-starchy vegetables such as artichoke, asparagus, aubergine, beetroot, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrot, cauliflower, celery, chicory, courgette, cucumber, fennel, French beans, kohlrabi, lamb's lettuce, leek, lettuce, mushrooms, onion, palm hearts, peppers, pumpkin, radish, rhubarb, soya bean sprouts, spinach and tomato. Keep up your exercise and you should be able to lose the weight in no time.
