WOW! It's been a crazy year thus far. Joining the Army did a number on my binge eating disorder. Of course, in Basic, they control everything you eat/do/etc so I came out in AMAZING shape. Once I got to my 4-month-long advanced training, I had freedom and being away from my husband and family got to me. I ate. And ate. Junk. I must have a good metabolism because I didn't gain too much weight, but I FELT terrible. That to me is worse than gaining 10 pounds.

I am happy to say that I finally have the motivation to be healthy again. I had a slip up yesterday and ate a bunch of really yummy cereal and pizza but I'm back on track today.

I am also lucky enough to be getting referred to the Stanford health clinic where they specialize in eating disorder treatment. I am very excited for that.
