What time of day to weigh
i also think the repeated weigh and take the mean is the best way. i weigh myself every day but only record a couple of times a week. i always try to weigh myself around the same time and without clothes and do 5 times and take the mean i think this has given me the most consistent results and kind of cancels out any varaitions due to inaccurate scales and different clothes. Find something that works for you and keep it consistent
Consistency is the key Smile

Calories In-Calories Out approach...will it work for me?
wow this is truely a great thread the amount of info available for us newbies is fab Very Happy

So i have another question to the CICO "seniors" FS calculates my RDI to 2000 calories which as i understand includes the 500 deficite required for gradual weight loss. This seems really high to me Doubt when i do the calculation on a number of other sites i get an RDI of anywhere between 1604 and 2320!!!! when i calculated by BMR at my current stats this is much more concistent 1750 - 1773 so i am a little confused as to what i should set my RDI to be any clues on understanding the difference.......

Calories In-Calories Out approach...will it work for me?
ok i am also new on this journey and have a question to either ekatherine or Kingkeld. You both speak about an eating window (6-8hours) what do you think the actual importance or role this plays in the journey? if i go by the absolute basics of CICO as i understand it then as long as i have more CO than CI then i should be good. Therefore when i have CI should not make a difference right?
