Taste buds changing
.I started dieting in January and have done pretty well, 3 stone in 3 months has brought me down to what the Heath Authority call 'Normal'

I used to drink 2 bottles of red wine and half dozen beers a week, now I don't drink wine much at all but still have my beers with my father in law on snooker night.

If I want something I just get it, but I find I really aren't wanting the sweets and wine , I don't want the easy take-aways any more.

I do get peckish around 9pm though but instead of grabbing shear junk I find I'm loving marmite on whole wheat toast - topped with chilli flakes.

I never ate fish, other than white fish in batter, now I love sardines, mackerel, salmon, I even had smoked kippers which would usually never get a look in.

I just can't believe how much my taste bud have changed and how much food I throw down me and still lose weight.

Smoothies?
Sounds nice, it's often the case with smoothies that they look like swamp water.

When we stopped using milk and started using water we found they lost some softness to the taste but adding a few prunes makes a difference, as long as you don't add too many Sad

breakfast smoothie today was 5 partially re-hydrated prunes, water, 1 banana, 1 apple, 2 handfulls of spinach and ice cubes, then just a touch of soya milk. lovely.
