following: osteopam's own diet
performance: losing 0.1 lb a week

I'm a British osteopath living and working on a Greek island with my 2 dogs.

I have been overweight all my adult life and am a complete carb addict so am coming to the realisation I just can't eat them. I go into full on binge mode if I have anything cakey or wheaty and after reading Wheat Belly now I know why. I am so much more healthy physically and mentally on low carb/ paleo though still succumb to cravings every now and again.

My current weight loss is slow but I am in it for the long game hopefully. I've been on and off it so often my poor body is probably in shock and doesn't know what's happening.

Getting enough fat on Atkins
Definitely eat avocados! And for sure you only need to count net carbs. In the UK foods are always listed with the fibre already deducted.

Try some coconut oil, its full of wonderful health benefits and you can eat it off a spoon as well as adding it to lovely recipes. I second the "your lighter side" recommendation, its a wonderful site with great recipes.

Leptin Reset
Is anyone on here heard of and been trying the leptin reset protocol? I just started today after reading some stuff about it. I think the best blog is Jackkruse.com.
It seems quite hard to have to get up and eat within 30 mins of waking eeek, but I think if it works it will be wonderful.

Any dog loving buddies?
I have 2 rescue dogs and 1 foster dog, all gorgeous, but one of mine is a chaser/ killer so its difficult to find anywhere to let her off her lead. There are a lot of sheep round here!!!
