Hi! My name is Jenn and where do I start? I'm 49 and I'm a professional dieter, went on my first diet (Scarsdale diet) when I was 13 and have been gaining and losing ever since. I am a diabetic and I have high blood pressure. I lost a great deal of weight a few years back on Atkins, but just gained it all back. . .then a couple years later I tried Weight Watchers and lost 65 lbs and gained it all back. . . flash forward to today. . . Giving keto a shot. . . . I now have 85lbs to lose and I need it to be once and for all. It's true what they say, it's a lifestyle change, if you go back to your old ways of eating after you lose, you will gain it back.

Wondering if Diet Pills are Dangerous for your Health?
I'm totally with FatGirlJenny. I've tried diet pills in the past, but they all made me jittery, and I was just plain nervous about taking something that I didn't know how it would affect my body. Since living the "keto" way, I never get hungry and I have LOADS of energy.

Need Atkins buddies
Hello everyone. I'm actually re-starting today, for about the 100th time, it seems! I have had great success with Atkins (as long as I stick with it!)I've previously lost 60 lbs on Atkings and I've put 20 of those right back on. Enough is enough so today I start back. My plan is to get myself in ketosis then start my workout routine again. I need all the help I can get, I'm realizing this is more an emotional battle than I had thought.

Atkins stall/gain
I did the exact same thing. But I only lost 4 lbs. the first 2 weeks!! I too had done Atkins before and had lost something like 12 lbs the first 2 weeks then! Well, I'm here to tell you that the weight will come off. I've been back on Atkins since June 21, and was sooo frustrated that first 6 weeks, the scale kept bouncing up and down! I'd lose 4 and gain back 5 the next week. It was totally crazy. Now, all of a sudden, the weight is just melting off. I'm not doing anything different, I just stuck to the plan and tried to have faith that it would work. Yesterday I celebrated a 12 lb. loss for the month, this morning I had lost 2 additional lbs. Trust me, keep to the plan, if you go back to your olds ways you will regret it!
