Back from vacation and did not gain! Yay! Then we got chinese take out since we had no food in the house from being away for a week. Boo. I knew that would set me back for a few days, as it always does, but today I'm just one pound over so that is not bad.
I've noticed recently my curves are filling in. I don't like it. I think its become a breaking point for me. I've also noticed an increase in back acne. At 26, I'm frustrated to have as much acne is as a 14 year old. In fact, I'm almost certain most of my friends did not have as much acne then as I do now. I've done the medications, the topical creams, the face washes, but back acne is even harder to work on when you can't reach it. Something must be done. That something is exercise. It's not my favorite thing in the world so I've never stuck to it long. This time, I must. Must be strong! Must tone body! Must clear skin!
I also had a conversation with my husband last night which surprised me...I told him that I am not set on reaching a number (though it would be nice). I want to be tone and fit. I can stay 155 as long as I am tone. 155 not tone is not pretty. He tells me that he thinks I am beautiful the way I am (awwweee) but I need to do this for me. I also want to be able to encourage future children to eat well and exercise and at this point, I would not be,

Two weeks til vacation. I can and I will lose those stubborn 5 pounds before then. I will return to our honeymoon destination at honeymoon weight. The heat wave is supposed to break today which means more outside adventuring! Molly dog is feeling better so I think she can start coming on walks with us again. No need to eat out. No need to pig out. Plenty of reasons to be active and enjoy this body God gave me.

We finished our first week of Power 90 yesterday. Today is our off day though I think my husband is itching for a bike ride around the lake so its only an off day from the Power 90 program. We did take one extra day of rest on Thursday because I was so sore/tired. I've very proud that I stuck with it for a week. Couple more and hopefully my body will yearn for that exercise. We're making a big life change soon so hopefully we'll get our work out in around meetings.
We also went shopping yesterday and hubby looked fantastic! Me....I need to work on a few areas. With the exercise and better eating habits, I think this is doable. I know it is. I just continue to be strict with myself.

The heat will not go away. Yesterday, it must have been 120 degrees but the thermometer only read 99 (when I saw it) with 99% humidity (it felt like it at least.) Needless to say, after the weekend, I became frustrated that I could not get out and run or bike so we got out the Power 90 dvds and we have done 3 days so far. My legs ache. It doesn't help that I had a fat dog snuggled up to them last night because of the fireworks. Tonight is sweat 1-2 and ab ripper. This one is my least favorite because of the length but its obviously doing something if my muscles are crying for me to go back to my sedentary life style. Listen legs, no, I will not. We need to be strong! I will make it through 90 days this time. I won't quit at 4. When the weekend comes, I will continue to work out.
