And it's at the cost of people who believe him when he says something is wonderful or a "miracle" for weight loss. People dont do their own research and they end up with something that causes health problems or more weight gain in the long run. I think he needs to do HIS research better and not tout a product just because they pay him a butt load of money to sponsor him.

Weigh ins...
I step on it every morning.........but it is not an "official" weight until Sunday morning. Smile
Every Sunday morning, I weigh myself first thing, and that's the only weight that counts for the week. The during the week weigh ins are usually only counted when they are milestones made..but they let me see if I am going to see my weekly goal made, or close to it, or if i need to bump up the exercise or watch my food better.
However, I do NOT flip out on what it says day to day..it's like it never happened...not "official" LOL

I read that the Biggest Loser sets calories for their contestants by multiplying their body weights by 7 to get their calorie needs for the day. It is adjusted as they lose. But they are not allowed to ever go down under 1200 for women, 1500 for men thing..eating only 1000 cals a day for an extended period will make it that much harder for you.

How long do you keep oversized clothes?
When I lost weight in past years, I donated all my "fat" clothes to charity. This time around, I packed them up into the attic, at least most of them. They are literally hanging over my head all the time, reminding me to stay on track.
I've lost 74lbs so far, and I'm shooting for a goal of 98-100lbs or more (depending on how I look and feel after losing that much). I will prob give them all away after I reach my goal and maintain for a decent amount of time.
Like others said, I keep one size ahead of where I am now accessible.

You only weigh 227 right now, right? I would definitely think long and hard about surgery.......what is your eating like? Exercise?
