Same as me. try to keep the fat low, high proteins but all the carbs I need especially when I am headed to the gym; in teh gym four or five times a week w/ cardio and weight machines. try and go before work every day.

You're absoluotely right, eKatherine.
I think what I find so postive about tracking my body's measurements is that it is not abstract like body weight. When you lose a half inch off your waist or hips (or thighs and biceps, which I also track) you know you are making progress that you can see in a mirror. I only check once in a while, and I actually record the progress in my journal on F/S so I have a handy place to store it. I am still a long way from a six-pack, but for me it gives some quantification to my progress that's a little more refined than jsut weight.
