I am a mother of 2: a precocious four year old boy and an adorable 1 year old girl. I am married to a wonderful man, who supports me in my weight loss goal. And I am an eternally optimistic person. I started on a dieting adventure with my mother and sister-in-law in hopes of beginning a healthier lifestyle that sets a positive example for my children as they grow. That is now finished, but I'm trying to continue with my new lifestyle. I had just under 50lbs to lose to be back at my first year university weight, which was when I felt the best about myself. I made it! However this time I'm wearing size 8 pants. I haven't been that small around since I was 13. I have now altered my goal to go a little lower, but my biggest concern is just maintaining the weight loss I achieved! Wish me continued success everyone! I would say luck, but it takes a lot more than luck to succeed at this type of task.

Question
1. design has improved, I agree though that I don't really care what it looks like as long as functions easily, which it does
2. When I take the time to read posts it is very motivating and yes easy to use
3. I don't know if it's stimulating. It is useful and the email reminders keep me focused
4 it takes way less time than logging by hand
5. YES! I lost 50 pounds two years ago, because fatsecret made me pay attention to what went in my mouth. Though I needed the motivation before it became so helpful.

I am 5'7" and my goal is 155. I could wear a bikini at that weight previously, though my body has changed now with 2 kids, so we'll see about that. I am a curvy person. I don't remember wearing anything under a size 14 since early high school. even my bikini was size 14. That's just how I'm built and I'm proud of my curves. I think it is possible I may go as low as 150 but I don't want to lose my chest particularly, so definitely no lower than that. I think it's a good reminder for all of us that a weight that's good for one person may not be the same for another, even if they are the same height.
Thinking about it I'm pretty sure my mom weighed 140 at most at my age and that was good for her, but like i said not for me. something to ponder.

Fell "Off the wagon" over the holidays, but now back with the program!
Keep leaning on the Lord. He will carry you through. And when you get that surgery and dance with your husband, He'll celebrate with you. God bless!
