I'm a 32 year old married mother of one gorgeous 4 year old. I had always been skinny until I got pregnant. Had complications and sat on my butt for 2 months eating all I could. 4 years later and I have only gained 74 more pounds. BOO Me! I tried Atkins in spring of 2011 and didn't lose anything but gained instead. This time I bought the book and have read just about the whole thing. I realized that last time I wasn't using enough fats. I was so used to cooking low fat. Also, I was not keeping an accurate count of net carbs. So here I go again. I am extremely motivated this time. My daughter wil go to school in 2013 and I want to have energy for those kindergarten field trips. I get tired walking up the stairs at work. That's not good. We are building a house which should be done on September 1st. Our new house has a major staircase. I can't keep getting winded at home. I need to get these pounds off. My goal weight is 140. I currently weigh 268. OUCH I know. I have 128 to go and need all the support and motivation I can get. I can do it though!
