About 18 months ago I began this journey to a healthier me . . . When I started my top weight was 306Lbs. The New Atkins for the New You was recommended to me by my PA who helps me manage my blood glucose. My BG was out of control and I was on the verge of insulin by injection . . . My PA threatened to drop me as a patient if I did not make some serious long term changes to my life style. So, I did, and have not looked back since . . . I am over 50 years old, I am reducing my body size and increasing my health and well being, my goal is to mange my health and keep my blood glucose under control . . . my weight lose is a by product of those two things. Focus, Focus, Focus the results will come. (10/15/2012)

This is a re-start . . . I dropped down to 215lbs. (04/22/2013) got bored, strayed off track and now weight 235lbs. I now need to get back into the daily routine of exercise and watch the carb intake.
