Transitioning to natural eating... well trying. Still giving in to stupid cravings and really not feeling very strong or supported in any of my intentions to get healthier. My Ass backwards thinking keeps getting me further and further back from my starting point and my goals as well.
I need to remember that my worth and value and potential are not based on what others assign to me or believe that I should be limited to.

There are only so many excuses I can use, and I need to just look at all the reasons why I need to do this and just get it done. In no particular order:
1. to fit into the clothes I already own, or for them to fit better
2. to be able to walk up a flight/several flights of stairs without feeling like I'm gonna have a medical emergency
3. to stop my knees from hurting
4. to feel better about my body
5. to set a good example to the kids I take care of
6. to be able to do more fun activities without having to stop or rest as often
7. to fit nicer into airplane seats
8. to buy clothes in the regular juniors section again
9. to lower my risk of medical diseases
10. to be able to go across the monkey bars (or something similar using upper body strength) without feeling like my arms are being ripped off due to the weight of my body
11. to be able to put my shoes and/or socks on without straining to reach or bend
12. to have a skinnier looking Mii
13. to run again
14. to share with others what I have learned in school about health and nutrition, show that it does really work if you set your mind to it, and not be one of those "do as I say, but not as I do" kind of people
15. to grow old and still be able to do things for myself
....

Today is my third day at an attempt to go gluten free/super low. My friend was just diagnosed after multiple other tests to figure out what was going on with her body. I'm doing this because we can support each other in the weight loss attempt and new way of eating she must follow, I felt much better when I followed this style of eating in the past, and it's going to ultimately get a grip on my carb-addiction.

Dear Grandma,
I love you to death, but your carb-laiden foods are triggers that I know is best to avoid. You aren't respecting my choices in trying to eat healthier, and you have no right to be mad at me if I politely refuse some or all of the foods you're forcing on me.
