I am 54 yrs old. I am a widow. I despertatly need to drop this weight. I live in Southern Oregon, have been here for 10 yrs. Spent my adult life in Alaska, which I miss terribly!! I was diagnosed with Diabetes about 6 yrs ago. I was up to 90 units of insulin until mid May of this yr, I started the Atkins program and am now completly OFF the insulin!! I know eating right and dropping this weight is the best thing I can do for ME! My health is important..I WANT TO LIVE! My husband passed away at 59 yrs old, I blame myself for the foods I fed us for years that took him so young. Theres still time for me, time to change old ways and get on the healthy lifestyle! I CAN AND WILL continue with good eating for the rest of my life. Soon I know I really need to add some good exercise into the mix also. Happy Loosing All!! Keep strong, dont kick yourself too badly when you fall off the wagon, pick it up and get going again the way we know we should.
