Has your Cholesterol Blood-Test reading improved on the Atkins diet?
Yes! I have been doing Atkins for about 11 years. A few years ago, I fell off the wagon for about a month, and during that time I had bloodwork done. It came back that my cholesterol was high. I knew why! So, I went back on induction and 2 months later had the bloodwork done again, and it went down...hold onto your seat...60 POINTS! I couldn't believe it. I still can't, but it happened to me, so I know it's true. Sometimes, when you first go on Atkins, it does go up a little, but then everything settles in and it will start to go down. Just make sure you're not adding any carbs in the form of flour/sugar,and you should be fine.
Let me know how it goes! Stay focused on your eating and wait another month...then see how your numbers are.

UPC NUMBERS
I didn't see where you can do that on the website, but the phone app lets you scan barcodes.

Starting induction again
I'll wish YOU luck if you wish ME luck! I did the same thing. Since Thanksgiving, I've put on 25lbs! (I just lost 3 in the past 2 weeks, so I'm baaaaaack!)

Assistance with Net Carbs
On the App, you can't see Net Carbs, but if you go to the website, it's there! (weird, huh?)
So, I usually enter my foods on the website, so i can see how many more carbs I can have in my day. But I do also enter them on my phone, then just come back to the site to check, so I don't have to do the math.

2nd day of commitment
Just be careful with that, mjulia! I will more than likely never eat fruit on a regular basis ever again, due to the sugar and the carb cravings that will ensue. BUT, I DO eat berries! (Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries) I really do miss bananas, and I guess after I'm down to my goal weight, I MAY eat one once in a great while, but for the most part I won't, as I dont EVER want to kick in those carb/sugar cravings. They are way too hard to overcome quickly for me. Just my 2 cents!
