I've been trying to loose 40lbs for 2 years now (I'm currently 187lbs). My problem is I can't find anything that is worth sticking with as I love to cook and eat things with different textures and flavors (any suggestions because I feel like I've tried everything)! I hate the idea of depriving ones self of dairies, carbs, and certain meats (our bodies naturally crave those things, right! so we suffer long and hard when we try to take certain things away from ourselves) and it's natural for us to eat those things. What ever happened to adhering to the Food Pyramid?
Anyhooo, I am currently taking up Jazzercise and I'm doing the "Forever Fit" program, which allows me to eat 1600 calories a day (Less than my RDI on here which is 2000). I have been on the program for 2 weeks now (almost 3 as of 3/1/10) and have lost 1 pound (yay). I love this because I can eat what I want, just small portions (I still make health conscious decisions I just don’t feel extremely guilty when I get something that’s not so healthy) and it works out well for me! And I also eat just about 5 times a day but that’s another story.
So Fat Secret is great! Now I have a tool to make tracking my calories much easier! Thanks FatSecret
