The WINE. So cheap and not bad. I buy the vinho verde by the case. Also, the crunchy almond butter with flaxseed is delicious. I have a friend that also loves their smoked salmon (I don't like smoked salmon in general so I have no opinion!).

alternate exercise
I'm not any kind of medical professional, but based on the fact that it is both your knee and hip suggests it could be an IT band injury. I've been dealing with the same thing since I ran a half marathon a few weeks ago, and most of the information I've seen warns against "running through the pain" as it can cause the condition to become chronic. I've found that rest (I know it's hard), ice, and ibuprofen has helped it. I've also heard using a foam roller can help as well. It may be worth seeing a doctor that specializes in sports injuries though if it continues, as a lot of IT band injury is based on mechanics so certain shoes, braces, supports, etc. might help as well!
