49 yr. old. Married, 6 boys 2 daughter in laws, a black lab mutt and a cat. We love to camp. Spend as many weekends camping as possible.

Started back to WW again in Oct. 2007. To date I have lost 35 lbs. using a combination of WW core and South Beach.

Maintenance is a huge challenge and FS helps keep me honest with myself!

B.E. A.C.H. Challenge Recipe
Black Bean Chicken Pesto Pasta

1 box whole grain pasta
1 sm. jar pesto sauce (or 1/2 cup homemade)
2 grilled chicken breast (cubed)
1 small red onion chopped
1 pkg. of grape tomatoes (halved)
2 cans black beans (drained)
1/2 cup mozzarella (shredded)

Cook pasta accorind to package directions, drain. Add remaining ingrediets mix well. May be served hot or cold.

While all beans are exceptionally healthy foods when it comes to their protein and fiber content, it's the color coat on black beans that contains flavonoids. Flavonoids are color-producing phytonutrients pigments that have great anti-oxidant potential. They work together with vitamins to help the body avoid oxygen-related damage.

I have been doing great with my banned excuse, getting in my exercise. However over the weekend and yesterday I have been struggling to stay away from the mindless snacking!!!

I guess I am going to have to start paying attention to what it is I really need to eat.

Sorry red team memebers, I'll get back out there today and work harder to stay on top of the snacking! Must be hormones.

Hi to all my B.E.A.C.H. buddies!!

Trying hard to stay motivated here. I must be hormonal, wanting to eat everything in sight the past few days!

All I can say is being part of this group has kept me from really just blowing it! So thanks for the motivaiton..

There is a cloud blocking my sun right now, I guess I better move my chair Smile

7/25 = 4

I guess I deserve a 4 for yesterday just because I lived through that nasty oral surgery without being knocked out!!!!

I made sure I got my walk in early yesterday, so I would have that out of the way.

I've already walked the dog this morning which I don't normally count that as exercise. Today it might be all I do. My jaw is killing me very and I have had to take pain medication and now I am soooo tired, I think I need a nap now!!!
