Hi my name is Lena I decided it was finally time to get serious about my health(pre-diabetic and hypertension) and yes my weight just happens to be a big part of it, I have two teenage girls one 19 and one forteen. They have watched me dive in and out of diets all my life....and now I fear my youngest is following in my foot steps. I have come out of a bad abusive marriage that I was in for 20 years and food became my Love affair. So after a quick over hall of my life and am in a beautiful relationship with a wonderful man in the middle of the ocean.I work as a nurse in an office in makawao,hi,bothe western and holistic medicine. I LOVE IT! ....I am determined to do this right. I am looking for friends and support in this and am excited to do this.

Need Advice for Evening Hunger
I find myself having the late night munchies too! I feel shaky because of low sugers so I eat. Maybe some of your ideas help. one thing I do is have half a banana and glass of water. sometimes helps.
