hello, my name is kerisha. i have a wonderful husband named joe who is also attempting the weight loss journey with me. we have three amazing children; daughter - 10 years old, two sons - almost 4 years old & 2 1/2 years old. i manage a group home for 5 mentally handicapped individuals and supervise anywhere between 8 - 13 care providers. my job is extrememly rewarding with the unavoidable challenges thrown into the mix. i've been in this field for as long as i can remember; but at my current place of employment for approximately 13 years. i'm excited with the progress i've made with my weight loss up to this point. i feel dedicated and determined yet aware that i'll have moments of dissapointment... definitely up to the challenge!!

sugar alcohol
i was just creating a label for a sugar free candy based on the package. i'm looking for a consesus or rule of thumb about the sugar alcohol. the label maker on fatsecret doesn't allow me to include the sugar alchol amount which makes the carbs look outrageous. should i do my own subtraction of sugar alchol before i list the carb amount or not subtract the sugar alcohol and just list the carbs. hope this makes sense!
