I've been on a diet over 50 years! Over the last 3 I have lost and kept off almost 40lbs! Still have 75lbs to go but I am only tackeling 25 lbs at a time - then I maintain the loss before I go after more.

Starting round 2 of my personal diet process now and love the new app on my Droid - makes counting so easy!

Looking forward to success and the encouragement of online people looking for support just like me!

Who is following your own healthy lifestyle plan?
It's great to see there are so many like me just trying to change their lifestyle and getting the benfit of lower weight and being healthier on the side.
I too monitor calories in/out - and watch the quality of what I eat. I am trying to loose an additional 40 lbs after maintaining a 40 lb weight loss for 3 years. This mean back to closley monitoring the quantity I eat and I love that I can use my phone to track this throughout the day - good luck to everyone - stay focused!

Does Sitting really burn more than Resting?
I'm using my droid too - it is a great app - have you scanned anything yet? Remember when counting your calories burned - always under estimate - say you are resting when you are sitting and then over estimate how many calories you are eating - include that extra large slice of pizza as two slices, 1 cup of salad - is it really 2?

Then you will be plesantly surprised - also if you try to input all exercise you will probably miss something in your food group. More important to know whats going in than what we are buring - that happens naturally..
