In January of 2007 I weighed 386lb. I am sure at one point it was more but I never actually let anyone record it. Not even my doctor till then. I refused to get on the scale at the doctors office and when I did I made them put it in kilograms because the number was lower...lol...Today I weigh 243.4lb. I have made a lifestyle change. I joined a gym and workout regularly. I do zumba, group power and have only tried a few other classes. sometimes I do zumba 2x a day. Wensdays are my big workout day I do 2 zumba and one group power and other days I do two workouts back to back in the morning. This with avoiding pasta, potatoes, white bread and soda pop has helped me get this far. I am type 2 diabetic and hope to get off my oral diabetic med as well as my goal weight for now is 193. At that weight I will be offically 1/2 what my weight was back in 2007. Heck maybe I can even dream of the ideal weight! At least I move from a BMI of obese to overweight..... I look forward to encouragement from this site. And even keep motivated with some of the online challenges... oh yea and I am doing a 5week challenge at my gym making it a competition with everyone that participates from the gym...yea!
