Iam 60 years old and I have had a weight problem since I was 13 years old. I have been on and off many diets over the years and the only one that ever worked for me was the atkins diet.I lost 50lbs in 2004 and kept it off for 2 years, only to gain most of it back, January 8, 2009 I started back on the atkins diet and lost 50 lbs again and I started to slip again at christmas and gained 7 lbs so I am back on track starting today. I have to track my food intake everyday to keep from gaining weight, so I would like to loose 11 lbs by July.

older and losing weight
I am going to be 73! I have been on here on and off I put weight on and take weight off all my life I always had a weight problem since I was 14. Now I have severe arthritis in both knees and can't exercise,I started counting calories and carbs since April 2021 and I lost 32 lbs. It comes off very slowly when you are not active but I stick to it. What I learned over all these years is you have to stick to counting calories everyday even when you are having a bad day!! Because if you stop it will come back on fast. Weigh yourself once a week. I thought I would tell everyone my story, Good luck everyone,

How Often Do You Weigh Yourself?
I been on this journey again for the last two years and I weigh myself everyday and record it everyday and yes it is up and down but the end of the week is what counts. My son just lost 104 lbs in 9 months and he only weighs in monthly so everyone is not the same. I like daily so if I go up one day I can be more strict the next day to keep it in check. Good luck. my goal weight was 132 and today I am 131, but I have to watch everyday what I eat.
